You want to see about protecting yourself, your loved ones, your community. Or you bought a gun and you’re not sure what’s next. Learn the proper handling of a pistol, shooting technique, laws, ammo purchase, attitude, and working toward CCW (concealed carry) and EDC (everyday carry).
For Fun & Sport
Firing a gun can be thrilling. Mastering coordination and bodily responses, disciplining your mind, and channeling that power into precision is rewarding. Those that shoot for the sport know that great feeling when you hit a bull’s eye. Under responsible circumstances, it’s a rush.
You will learn how to shoot
BASIC INTRODUCTION includes:
- GUN SAFETY: learn and review the 4 gun rules, as well as range rules
- How different guns work and how to hold & handle them safely
- Holding/grip, gun site, targeting, trigger squeeze
- Breathing, stances
- Correcting personal idiosyncracies
- Awareness training, direction, intent
- De-escalation of conflict
- Eye & ear protective equipment
- Choice of 2 guns out of 10 available
- 1-on-1, or 2 if preferred, but no more
We spent hours with Allan practicing shooting. He is a terrific instructor and a lot of fun to be with. We really had a wonderful time and look forward to doing it again.
